Assist Management with Implementation, Matter Management, Updates, and Maintenance of EBilling Application

Formulate Analytical Reporting/Financial Data in Excel Spreadsheets

Assign, Supervise, and Organize Financial Lines, Claims, and Corporate Legal Queues

Review and Process Legal Invoices Submitted by Corporate Counsel

Utilize Multiple Applications and Advanced Functions for Administrative Tasks

Review/Add/Notes Client Billing Guidelines/Rules are Applied to Invoices from Various Law Firms/Handling Offices to Ensure Compliance

Ensure Accuracy and Currency of Timekeeper Rates and Accruals

Formulate Database System for Timekeeper Rates and Accruals

Complete Research and Ad Hoc Projects and Requests from Attorneys and Claims Adjusters

Draft Pre-Bills

Prioritize, Risk Management, Problem-Solve, and Maintain a 14-day turn-around period of all invoices

Examine/Investigate Claim Expenses, Contracts, and Budgets to Process Payments

Utilize Legal Ascent EBilling Advanced Functions to Review, Adjust and/or Reject Invoices

High School Diploma

3 years of experience in billing and project costing

Must have strong accounting, analytical, computer, communication, and organizational skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

A thorough knowledge of project cost accounting, including time and expense, lump sum, and not-to-exceed project terms

Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and to respond to changes in priorities

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and see projects through to completion

Employ problem-solving skills and analysis, and report problems to the CFO or Accounting Manager as necessary

Fluent in English (must speak, read, write)

Preferred Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration

Previous experience with accounting and invoicing at an architecture, engineering, or construction firms

Knowledge of Deltek VantagePoint software
