The Office of Child & Family Services (OCFS), within DHHS is responsible for ensuring the safety, permanency and well-being of children and families throughout Maine. OCFS fulfills its mission through: Children’s Behavioral Health Services, Child Welfare Services, Early Care and Education Services and Operations. This position is a member of the Children’s Behavioral Health Services Unit. Tasks include but are not limited to ensuring all grant requirements are met, including attending required grant meetings; recruiting and facilitating the MPBHP Advisory Board; drafting and awarding any applicable RFPs for the software, service design, and evaluation team; completing and submitting required reports; providing oversight of contracts related to the grant; providing oversight of the grant budget; serving on the advisory board and executive committee; providing coordination of the grant and state partners; arranging educational opportunities for providers using ECHO model; working with the evaluation team to ensure an achievable data collection and evaluation plan is developed and implemented.
Knowledge, Skills and Certifications
Specific qualifications needed to perform the job including, necessary licenses, knowledge, skills, education, experience, training, and technical skills.
Knowledge of CBHS system of care including applicable rules, laws/statutes, regulations, policies, and procedures governing CBHS services.
Ability to use data to drive decision-making and implement decisions resulting in changes to process.
Ability to manage federal grants, meet project goals, and meet deadlines for federal reporting.
Ability to direct and oversee the work of others as well as supervise subordinate personnel.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in written form, to a variety of audiences.
Ability to plan, direct, administer, and evaluate complex initiatives.

Grant management tasks such as:
Ensuring all grant requirements are met, including attending required grant meetings.
Completing and submitting required reports.
Providing oversight of contracts related to the grant.
Coordinating the advisory board and the executive committee.
Providing oversight of the grant budget.
Grant implementation tasks such as:
Providing coordination of grant and state partners for both the PMHCA grants.
Maintaining the website to provide resources for the grant partners and community providers.
Coordinating and disseminating surveys to community providers after trainings.
Working with the evaluation team to ensure an achievable data collection and evaluation plan is developed and implemented.
Marketing the Maine Pediatric Behavioral Health Partnership, providing outreach and education to interested stakeholders.
Traveling as required under the grant and as necessary to achieve goals of the program.
Schedule
Summary of work schedule, including normal working hours, on-call expectations, allowed time off (which is non-billable), ability to work remote.The work schedule will be coordinated with the Associate Director of Children’s Behavioral Health.The position is anticipated to be a 40 hour per week position with no overtime. The work can be performed remotely but may require some on-site meetings/events or other travel.Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
