Description:The Senior Project Manager position will sit within IT PMO but will be partnering with business units, technical units within Graphic Packaging International and external partners, to coordinate projects and to ensure that prioritization and execution plans are in place for all critical areas, as well as to ensure knowledge and expertise on relevant technologies are in place. The Project Manager will lead the IT Governance Project (Compliance, Audit, Risk, Information Security). You will support the team to keep their timelines on track, monitor the evolution of the project through milestones and produce all levels of reporting to relevant stakeholders.Required Skills: Project management experience in a global, multi-cultural and multi-site environment Demonstrated ability in driving large-scale projects running over multiple years across operations and IT in a global institution with multiple stakeholder groups at various levels within the organization Extensive delivery and implementation experience Project Management Certification or equivalent demonstrated experience Demonstrated experience and expertise in MS Project Experience in Agile methodology preferred Domain knowledge in manufacturing preferred Organizational change management experience Experience with technology as well as non-technology projects Assertive leadership and exceptional communication, coaching & mentoring skills Significant senior stakeholder management, budget control, project reporting and escalation Drive adoption by stakeholders and user populations, and delivering anticipated benefits Experience managing SaaS Projects Experience managing IT Governance ProjectsKey objectives of this role Daily project management activities throughout the project life cycle. Define and manage the project governance (controls) Plan the overall project and monitor the progress Manage the project schedule Manage the project budget Manage the risks and issues of the project and work with the teams to take corrective measurements Control all project interdependencies Maximize utilization of project resources across all workstreams, assisting with the selection and appointment of new project team members Manage all stakeholder communication Manage project documentation according to Graphic Packaging International policies and procedures Interact with the technical teams to understand critical milestones, deliveries, and releasesIdeal Candidate: A bachelor's degree of science in information technology, business management, administration (or other relevant degree), with proven experience in Project Management tools and techniques 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager and additional years in other functional roles Strong and proven practical experience in project management, which was gained through managing large and complex projects Good knowledge of project and program management methodology and techniques Experience with managing agile projects Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Project Experience in managing and implementing successful projects Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in project management Strong leadership and management skills Extremely organized Fantastic presentation skills Ability to manage the projects in agile & waterfall environments Good knowledge of project budgeting and resource allocation procedures Ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems Ability to navigate in global, large, and complex organization Strong ability to influence without authority Team player – puts own success below the success of the teamSkills:compliance, governance mergers and acquisitions, Project managerTop Skills Details:compliance,governance mergers and acquisitionsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:The Project Manager position will sit within IT PMO but will be partnering with business units, technical units within Graphic Packaging International and external partners, to coordinate projects and to ensure that prioritization and execution plans are in place for all critical areas, as well as to ensure knowledge and expertise on relevant technologies are in place.
