Project ManagerThis Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of managing projects within the client, leading and coordinating across all functions in the organization. They have 4000 US employees. Sopra's product is banking software, clients buy these products to upgrade legacy systems. They need a PM to work on these client projects (some may be large and others small). They will focus on end to end project management (not just a piece of it). Need to have full cycle PM experience (from pre-study to stabilization). In general they will work on 1-2 projects at a time. Day to day: Management of multiple small to medium projects simultaneously Develop mutually agreed Project Plans, between client and customer, to ensure delivery success Preparation and management of all project documentation in accordance with project governance and compliance Defining project resource requirements, working with relevant line managers to secure, and booking and managing resource in accordance with company policies and procedures Managing project risks and issues and associated reporting, escalation, and resolution. Management of financial elements during implementation (quotes / billing requests /invoices / compiling expenses for recharging / overdue accounts) Monitoring and tracking all project activity and reporting the status of project schedules and budgets to the relevant stakeholders Effective management of Change Requests and ensuring that the Change Control process is adhered to. Conducting project meetings (frequency as agreed by Project Team) and ensuring that meetings are documented both internal and client facing Preparing collateral for, and attending Steering Group meetings Must haves: 3-5 years of PM experience with Software related projects Full cycle SDLC project management experience (from pre-study to stabilization) Experience with governance and toll-gates (client sign-offs) Experience working with internal and external customers Able to lead meetings and drive projects Understands Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Agile experience (and/or iterative development) Jira Nice to haves: Project Management experience in the IT or Fin-Tech industry Project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, APM)
