Description As a Purchasing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient procurement of products, equipment, and services. Your role will involve sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor relationships to support the company’s operational needs. You will work closely with various departments to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.Key Responsibilities:

Source, negotiate, and contract materials, supplies, equipment, and services.

Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies.

Maintain accurate purchasing records, data, and pricing information.

Analyze and evaluate procurement data, prepare detailed reports.

Coordinate with internal departments to align purchasing activities with company goals.

Manage and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Handle claims with factories and vendors for defective items, shortages, and missing parts.

Provide cost quotations to support the sales department in project planning and budgeting.

Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.

Requirements

Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, and vendor management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Proficiency in purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in purchasing / procurement.
