QA Automated Testing Analyst As a part of our talented and innovative E-Commerce Team, you will take part in ensuring the delivery of quality web applications that provide value to the customers. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing test plans and developing automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, collaborate with the software design team, mentor the team on testing practices and tools in addition to creating reports for communicating the progress of our testing and quality initiatives against goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Overall end-to-end testing, ensuring functionality, reliability, usability, and performance expectations are met.
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using approved software and tools.
  • Identify usability and functional issues according to prescribed test scripts and testing procedures.
  • Facilitate issue resolution with functional and technical groups
  • Cooperate and communicate with other team members to meet departmental and team goals.
  • Validate fixes and close tickets, completing the quality testing cycle.
  • Escalate potential problems both in terms of specific bugs but also wider functionality issues.
  • Create and maintain test data to support automation testing and business users.
  • Assisting developers in recreating bugs.
  • Consult and upskill other test engineers on DevOps (CI/CD) and infrastructure automation, automated CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and operations.
This is a 12 month + contract opportunity that will auto renew each year. This role offers flex hours! This company is currently working in a hybrid environment - minimum 2 days/week in office and 3 days work from home. Excellent opportunity for a long term contract, located in Midtown with close access to MARTA. BRAND NEW OFFICE BUILDING with several amenities (gym, food court, cafe, Marta access, etc.)

Required:
  • 5+ years of experience and proficiency developing, implementing, and executing data-driven or keyword driven testing frameworks using testing tools like Selenium, Coded UI Test (CUIT), Quality Test Professional (QTP), etc. to facilitate test automation.
  • 5+ years of experience and proficiency in implementing and executing testing strategies, plans, methodologies, and frameworks in support of Agile development.
  • Experience using Tricentis testing automation tools: (Tosca-required), (Jmeter/Performance Testing-ideal).
  • Experience with VisionAI and creating custom modules from that engine.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS.
  • Working experience with agile methodologies (Scrum).
  • Working experience with Jira
