Quickbase Application Developer

The Quickbase Application Developer is responsible for the frontend and backend design and development of new Quickbase applications from the ground up. The Quickbase Application Developer will play a role in the research and requirements gathering when designing new Quickbase applications. This role also works alongside other team members and will provide guidance and best practice methods when engaged in Quickbase projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications
  • Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software
  • Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platform
  • Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
  • Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools
  • Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
  • Participates in the development of software user manuals

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in QuickBase application design and development
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in software and database design
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in web-based technologies (HTML/JavaScript)
  • Knowledge of QuickBase API and Cloud Integration
  • QuickBase Certification – App Builder, expert level highly preferred
  • Knowledge of building formulas/table to table relationships/custom reports
  • Knowledge of the different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle and industry best practices
  • Proficiency in flow diagrams and documentation of software requirement
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and understand of complex user requirements

  • Database migration and migration troubleshooting

GOOD TO KNOW
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and/or NetSuite structures and APIs
  • Access Control

  • Experience supporting users in a professional services environment
