Job Number: 1015 Riverside Research is seeking a full-time Radar Systems Engineer in Robins AFB, GA. This position will provide systems engineering, acquisition and sustainment support services to the AFLCMC Special Projects program office located at Robbins Air Force Base. The position will assist in the preparation, review, and integration of acquisition, sustainment and technical documentation. This will include planning and initiating development of program documents and reports required to support the program. The individual will provide an interface between the Riverside Research RAD Group and AFLCMC/HBG. This position focuses on a broad range of technical, acquisition and sustainment support duties for HBG. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, an independent problem solver, and have excellent communication skills both written and oral. They must also be able to enjoy learning and applying new technologies, and thrive in a dynamic, engineering-oriented work environment. All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Job Responsibilities:- Support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) requirement development, design, deployment, and sustainment of a new and modernized RADAR system of systems
- Review and articulate requirements from directives, instructions, plans, and other documents and include recommended courses of action
- Identify and assess issues and develop risk reduction/mitigation approaches for improving program planning, control, and execution
- Prepare, review, and integrate required milestone review documentation, periodic reports, and certifications
- Provide reviews of deliverables, milestone schedules, status reports, and cost performance reports; determine accuracy of information and identify any inconsistencies
- Prepare and present briefings and reports. Attend meetings at prime contractor's facility, and participate in other travel as directed by AFLCMC/HBG and Other duties as assigned
- Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field; 15 years of directly related experience may be substituted for degree requirement
- 10+ years of previous experience in Radar and/or Systems Engineering
- Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines effectively
- Demonstrated experience with DoD acquisition process from either Government or prime development contractor experience.
- Excellent communications skills both written and oral
- Possess a comprehensive knowledge on best practices of the requirements process and product life-cycle planning
- Demonstrated experience using all MS Office products, including MS Project and Visio

- Space Based Radar Applications
- Space Domain Awareness Experience
- Whole Life Engineering Experience
- Experience in executing Radar System Sustainment Studies and experience with Windows, Linux, and AIX Operating Systems
