Redshift Developer to work with one of our clients.

Job Location: Atlanta, GA (post-Covid)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Suggest improvements to current processes, tools, and implementation ideas.
Strong understanding of performance analysis, tuning, and optimization
Must be willing to roll up sleeves to do the research necessary to define data and application requirements.
Must be familiar and stay current with industry best practices and trends related to data ingestion and database design/development.
To learn and implement new Data technologies as needed.
Must be willing and able to support application/database development throughout the software lifecycle from requirements analysis design through to implementation and maintenance.

Required Skills:

6+ years of experience needed DBA in PostgreSQL / Redshift database.
5+ years of experience needed Python / Bash scripting.
The candidate should be able to do designing and lead Redshift performance benchmarks.
Must have experience with large-scale data analytics and data warehousing.
Experience with Agile process methodology, CI/CD automation, Test Driven Development.
Strong development background & strong coding skills: No SQL, python, UNIX, and shell scripting.
Must have Hands-on experience using Cloud Platform provided Big Data technologies and equally non-big data technologies example EC2, EMR, RedShift, S3 in Amazon Web Services.
Must have demonstrated experience in working with other database and application developers to define application architecture/best practices.
Good knowledge of Relational databases, Data modeling concepts.

Should have analytical, problem-solving, data analysis, backend, rest API, and research skills.
Must be flexible and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience required in PostgreSQL Redshift Developer.
