Position DescriptionCoordinates the daily activities of the A/R Follow Up and Charge Posting staff. Monitors work of assigned staff and acts as a professional resource. Reports status of the department to the Business Office Coordinator and Revenue Cycle Director overseeing charge input.
Position RequirementsREQUIRED: 1. Two years of charge posting/accounts receivable/billing experience 2. Coding knowledge or CPC Certification 3. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology 4. Demonstrated problem-solving skills 5. Demonstrated knowledge and skill in computer skills 6. Demonstrated organizational and communication/customer service skills. PREFERRED: 1. Knowledge of ICD and CPT Codes 2. Experience in EMR 3. Experience with Allscripts PM preferred 4. Experience reading and interpreting ATB 5. Experience with all payers such as Medicare, Medicaid, Manage Care and Commercial carriersLicense/Certification Requirements: NoWork Hours: 8a-4:30pWeekend Requirements: NoOn-Call Requirements: No
