Description SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - Outbound Sales - SaaS Based Company based in MidtownMy client, a SaaS based company in Midtown, is searching for a Senior Business Development Manager to join their team for an immediate, direct-hire opportunity. The Senior Business Development Manager play a pivotal role in driving their business growth in the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry. The role involves mentoring the Outbound Business Development team, supporting outbound sales initiatives, and working in a hybrid-remote setting with three times a week commuting to the Atlanta office.Responsibilities:

Mentor and develop the Outbound Business Development team to improve their performance.

Support and drive outbound sales initiatives to accelerate business growth.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize lead generation, qualification, and handoff processes.

Utilize Salesforce.com and other management tools to monitor and assess team performance.

Guide the team in crafting impactful statements using your understanding of company frameworks.

Commit to data-driven decision-making to enhance outbound lead acquisition strategies.

Create weekly reports to highlight the team's successes.

Utilize your expertise in ERP, Microsoft Excel, and ZoomInfo to manage business opportunities and campaign planning.

Oversee call center metrics and operations, drawing on your management skills.

Leverage your knowledge in outbound sales to lead the team to success.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.

7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.

Proven track record of managing and leading a sales or business development team.

Experience in developing and implementing business development strategies.

Knowledge of the specific industry in which the company operates (e.g., IT, software, finance, healthcare).

Demonstrated success in driving sales initiatives and achieving targets.

Experience with outbound sales strategies and lead generation.

Ability to craft and deliver compelling sales presentations.

Proficiency with Salesforce.com and other CRM tools.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Familiarity with tools like ZoomInfo for lead generation and campaign planning.

Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Ability to develop and implement effective business development strategies.

Experience in creating and analyzing performance reports.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Willingness to travel as needed.
