Senior Citrix Engineer/VMWare Horizon Architect for our client in

Atlanta, GA.

SUMMARY: We are looking for a Windows Server Engineer with strong Windows Server OS knowledge who has excellent troubleshooting skills. The candidate MUST have an advanced understanding of Citrix XenApp & XenDesktop. The candidate will become a member of the Enterprise Wintel Services team within the Information Technology Department. Candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Citrix XenApp 7.15, Citrix XenDesktop 7.15, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 and application upgrades. In addition the candidate must be well rounded, possess maturity, vision, and a depth of experience that allows for grasping of issues quickly and making educated, critical judgments and decisions. This candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced 24x7 environment with on-call duties as required and must possess the ability to work with a diverse, high-performance team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage Citrix XenApp 7.15 & 6.5
  • Manage Citrix XenDesktop 7.15 & 7.6
  • Responsible for working with multiple teams to help update and manage applications
  • Provide 3rd level support for help-desk
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues with technical assistance from vendors, common carriers, and technical IT management
  • Improve day to day processes by implementing new technologies
  • Act as the point of escalation to diagnose and repair all error conditions.
  • Design, develop, upgrade, document, test, and implement related processes and procedures to ensure that all error conditions and necessary optimizations are addressed.
  • Develop work instructions, procedures, application architectures and policies in support of company requirements.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
  • Advanced experience with Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenDesktop, and VmWare
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to plan, design, and implement technical roadmaps
  • Advanced experience with application delivery
  • Experience with PVS
  • Advanced experience with NetScaler configuration
  • Previously worked as an architect supporting a large enterprise environment
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Citrix
  • Citrix Certification – CCE-V, CCA-N
  • Intermediate/Advanced PowerShell
  • VmWare vSphere 6.0+
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Experience with MCS
