This is a Remote role that can based anywhere in the USBasic FunctionThe Regional Sales Director is responsible for the direct sale of company products and services to hospitals in a geographic territory (regional lines may change periodically) using expertise in healthcare information technology, the pharmacy compounding space, relationship building and networking in the healthcare market.The primary focus of a Regional Sales Director is to generate new sales revenue. Wolters Kluwer is a proven company that requires a high level of energy and initiative to prospect for new customers, close marketing driven leads, and drive all opportunities from inception to invoice.Essential Duties and responsibilities
Work remotely and manage their business with a high level of integrity, maturity, and a concern for managing all facets of new business sales within the assigned territory.
Achieve sales quota on a quarterly and annual basis.
Build and maintain effective sales plans, pipelines, and forecasts.
Identify and build effective relationships with the respective decision-makers, key influencers, and stakeholders.
Prospect by calling on Directors of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Managers, and IT personnel.
Analyze prospective client’s business and technology requirements and issues to provide software solutions accordingly.
Maintain positive working relationships with Pharmacy OneSource employees and our valued customers.
Attend regional and national trade shows and conferences to promote P1S products and generate leads and sales.
Job QualificationsEducation:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years business to business sales experience. Sales experience via telephone and face to face is essential.
Previous healthcare or pharmaceutical sales experience is preferred.
Have a quantifiable and successful sales track record of selling into the hospital market.
Successful track record in solutions-based selling.
Strong presentation, management, and negotiation skills.
Process-oriented, strategic approach to selling with a track record of qualifying and closing high value sales transactions.
Desire to participate in sales training, tools training, and ongoing product specialization training.
Ability to drive the sales process from prospecting through closure.

Possess a strong business acumen, leadership skills, accountability and be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal skills.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment to determine next steps or action plan.
Experience demonstrating and selling sophisticated and complex products/technologies; IT solutions sales preferred.
Strong computer skills (internet, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, customer-management programs such as Salesforce)
Miller Heiman sales training preferred.
Have a strong desire to be a part of a team that is working to improve healthcare by applying technology where it is most needed.
Knowledge of clinical pharmacy operations
