POSITION PURPOSEThe Supply Chain Finance Transportation Sr. Financial Analyst supports the Transportation team. The SFA works cross functionally with Transportation, International Logistics, and Merchandising Finance and/or Supply Chain support teams. This position prepares economic and financial analyses and forecasts for use in the development of making business decisions. Key responsibilities include: developing analyses to support 1) Supply Chain strategy, 2) investment decisions, 3) forecasting; reporting and analyzing financial results.MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESOversee the administration of financial policies.

Conducts special financial studies and coordinates with other departments in the preparation of statistical studies.

Performs internal and external economic research and analyzes issues related to specific financial metrics to ensure competitiveness

Compiles or prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed.

Recommends changes in financial analysis methods or procedures.

Assist in the automation of reports, primarily into a more visual format i.e. Tableau

NATURE AND SCOPEThis position typically reports to a Manager / Sr. Manager of Finance.

Typically faces situations that are unstructured and require original approaches.

Typically considers new approaches within general policies and short-term goals when solving problems.

Typically, once given general assignments, determines priorities and defines what should be done and how to do it.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTSLocated in a comfortable indoor area.Under constant pressure to continuously meet tight deadlines, demanding quotas and/or must regularly deal with difficult situationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMust be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.Education Required:The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degreeYears of Relevant Work Experience: 2 yearsPhysical Requirements:Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.Preferred Qualifications:Strong working knowledge of Excel, BigQuery, SQL, and Powerpoint

Financial planning and analysis experience

Strong communication skills and executive presence

Strong financial acumen

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:Strong technical skills including data manipulation within multiple tools, ability to read/write SQL queries

Knowledge of Finance and Accounting Principles and Practices.

Business Planning/Strategy Setting experience.

Budgeting, Financial Planning and Financial Modeling skills.

Ability to interact with all levels of associates
