The RCA House system has developed so far and wide that we have created a web based and mobile app called the RCA House Points App. This app is the easiest way to keep track of points for each house and instantly award points to a student on the spot.
The app has over 480k end users and is implemented in over 500 schools. We are actively disrupting our industry and changing learning environments worldwide. We have used a third-party software company to design, manage, and provide support since the app's inception in 2019. We are scaling quickly and looking at insourcing talent to manage the app internally as we advance and scale. We seek a highly skilled and motivated senior full-stack developer to join our team. This role is specifically for a ground-zero engineer who will work hand-in-hand in this migration and help develop a scalable roadmap. The Ron Clark Academy is an equal-opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.Responsibilities: - Help lead the migration of our web-based app and mobile application from a third-party platform to an in-house solution. - Help source a team of engineers, designers, and analysts to fill the team's needs. - Work closely with the project manager to ensure the successful and timely completion of the migration project. - Design and implement high-quality, creative software solutions for the platform - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and bring innovative ideas to life. - Write and manage clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Test and debug code to ensure high-quality products and a seamless user experience during migration. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, bringing new ideas and approaches to the table. - Experience leading and sourcing teams. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in web development. - Experience with front-end technologies, such as React, Vue. js, or Angular. - Experience with back-end technologies, such as Node. js, Ruby on Rails, or Python. - Knowledge of database systems, such as MySQL and NoSQL. - Experience with version control systems, such as Git.Soft Skills: - Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.- ID: #49543077
