- Develop and implement an annual marketing plan for each partner channel and customer portal
- Define a marketing strategy for each channel by identifying goals, processes, products, sales and marketing support
- Create and maintain a decision table that displays the obligations of current license agreements identifying products and services for each channel as well as upsell opportunities and marketing restrictions
- Develop partner-specific toolkits for use by the sales and implementation teams for each channel
- Serve as the primary point of contact with professional counterparts in each partner channel and support joint marketing activities introduced by either company
- Propose and oversee the processes through which Client products are marketed within each channel
- Create, distribute and maintain a library of collateral materials specific to each channel to include, but not limited to, campaigns, articles, case studies, press releases, ad content and surveys
- Collaborate with Client business development and other management to create and deliver tools that support each channel’s strategy to either resell Client product or provide customer referrals
- Understand the process through which Client products and services are presented to channel partner customers
- Develop and maintain customer portal content, track analytics, monitor customer behavior, and produce audience-specific advertising campaigns designed to increase product awareness, upsell services and generate leads
- Work with IT Services on project deliverables that will enhance portal content and the customer’s experience
- Deliver appropriate and timely messaging for each portal audience
- Review all portal content once every year to ensure the accuracy of information
- Maintain branding consistency across all channel sectors
- Establish a calendar-based schedule for the collection and distribution of information
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop scripted external messaging

- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Communications, Marketing, Channel Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum seven years professional writing and marketing communications that includes development of articles, website content, campaigns, press releases, case studies, and a broad range of marketing materials
- Experience developing and executing marketing communications strategies within the marketing department of a software development organization is preferred
- Knowledge of HR/Payroll software applications is a plus
- Ability to operate with minimal supervision and handle multiple assignments simultaneously is essential
- Ability to meet assignment deadlines which may require working extra hours
- Ability to produce practical samples across a broad range of marketing materials
- Strong MS Office skills; extensive experience with Word, WordPress & PowerPoint preferred
