SENIOR .NET SOFTWARE ENGINEER CAREER OPPORTUNITY Our client provides state-of-the-art, enterprise level analytics for all forms of business communications including speech, chat, email, and general text. They have a world class research team developing new algorithms and approaches to help companies with solving critical issues such as identifying their best performing agents, preventing fraud, categorizing customer issues, and determining overall customer satisfaction. If you have interacted with a major contact center in the last decade, it's very likely they have processed your call. The "Workbench" team provides the core engine for many of their key applications. This team is very dynamic and given wide latitude in choosing their own tools and internal processes. They take the rough code provided by researchers and turn it into a high-performance, scalable, and robust engine/library. This team is looking for a Senior .NET Software Engineer to help them create an entirely new backend system to support their growing cloud based and enterprise deployments. This new backend server will allow them to provide algorithms developed in virtually any programming language in a single integrated interface. This new engine interfaces with many processes written in different languages, but the core system is written in C#. An experienced engineer is needed to expand this core application as well as create build and test automation around it. Engine requirements include stability under load, scalability for enterprise deployments, high performance, and easy deployment and maintenance by field engineers.

SENIOR .NET SOFTWARE ENGINEER JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Expansion of the .NET engine to serve as the backend for enterprise applications
  • Create build and test automation
  • Maintain, debug, and document the system through its lifecycle
  • Work with other engineers to improve the engine and make its interface easy for users

SENIOR .NET SOFTWARE ENGINEER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience writing, debugging, and supporting .NET applications
  • Knowledge of .NET build and test automation
  • Bachelor's degree in the field of Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or equivalent practical experience

SENIOR .NET SOFTWARE ENGINEER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of the enterprise software product life cycle (design, build, test, delivery, support)
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Automation systems (Jenkins or other such tools)
  • Some experience with AWS or other cloud technologies
  • Experience with Python and .NET core
