aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" The Network Administrator is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and level 1 & 2 problem resolution activities of large WAN and LAN environments. aria-hidden="true" Cisco & Palo Alto hardware is utilized in our fast-paced and challenging operational environment. aria-hidden="true" No administration of Windows/Linux systems is involved this role is strictly networking focused and requires in-depth knowledge of network support technologies, tools, and operational procedures. aria-hidden="true" This positions primary emphasis is problem identification, alerting, troubleshooting, and incident resolution. aria-hidden="true" Network Operations (NetOps) coordinates with development, engineering, and other Technical Operations (TechOps) teams to support the environment and implement network configuration changes including config scripting for new access connectivity through WANs, LANs, and firewalls. NetOps maintains network environments in at least 3 geographically distinct data centers and multiple globally dispersed enterprise locations. aria-hidden="true" The team focuses on activities specific to monitoring, reporting, tech hygiene (reboots/code upgrades), and adheres to very strict configuration standards. aria-hidden="true" This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills required to relay information to management, adjacent support teams, and downstream customer groups. aria-hidden="true" The ability to create concise documentation of issues, compile statistics and related data, as well as build reports on network performance is required. aria-hidden="true" QUALIFICATIONS aria-hidden="true" Candidate must possess 5+ years of demonstrable experience in the following areas: aria-hidden="true" A firm understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 troubleshooting and incident resolution skills aria-hidden="true" Network monitoring experience with BigPanda, LogicMonitor, and Thousand Eyes preferred aria-hidden="true" Experience maintaining, upgrading, and configuring Cisco routing/switching hardware required aria-hidden="true" WAN administration of point-to-point, dark fiber, and MPLS (with OSPF routing) circuits required aria-hidden="true" Vendor management experience and good communication skills required aria-hidden="true" Hands-on experience working in an enterprise operations environment or NOC aria-hidden="true" Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask and work well under pressure required aria-hidden="true" Understanding of network management tools, monitoring applications, and packet capture technologies is required aria-hidden="true" Candidate must demonstrate initiative, be self-motivated, and possess a strong sense of urgency to be considered aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" DESIRED EXPERIENCE aria-hidden="true" 3+ years of experience with network auditing and compliance methodologies aria-hidden="true" 5+ years of experience supporting networks in a fast-paced NOC or helpdesk environment aria-hidden="true" Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto or Fortinet firewall troubleshooting is preferred aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, TRAINING aria-hidden="true" BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline aria-hidden="true" CCNP preferred ;/p> ;/div> Flexon Technologies is a leading end-to-end technology solutions provider to IT and Non-IT industry.
