The Azure Compute Infrastructure Platform (CIP) team is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join its customer adoption team. In this role you will work with multiple customer teams, internal and external, to understand their applications and help them adopt the latest compute instances to improve their delivery and reduce their cost of ownership.The ideal candidate will love taking on multiple big challenges and working to align diverse teams to a common outcome that focuses on creating value for customers. This person will have an infectious and relentless pursuit of growth, attention to detail, and seek improvement both for their customers, our product portfolio and themselves.As Microsoft’s cloud platform, Azure is continuing its substantial growth and the Azure Compute VM Sizes and Hardware team is delivering the platform that will empower that growth!ResponsibilitiesUse customer consumption data to identify and match customer scenarios with compute products and provide feedback to product evolution.

Understand customer workload needs, identify emerging markets, and communicate the VM family product roadmap to customers and partners.

Partner with Compute, Hardware Planning, Cloud Supply Chain & Provisioning, Business Planning, Finance and Product Marketing to drive consumption of new platforms, using a combination of price/performance and workload suitability.

Drive onboarding of customer adoption through cross-team prioritization, feature delivery and issue resolution.

Utilize strong data-driven and project management methodologies to monitor the delivery, quality and efficiency of new offerings.

Qualifications5+ years of relevant experience in technical program management or development.

Demonstrated success leading cross-functional and diverse teams to impactful software delivery.

Demonstrated ability to build vertically integrated hardware and software services.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in interpersonal and public settings.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
