Senior Project ManagerExciting opportunity for a Sr. Project Manager to serve on large scale, well funded Security, Data Science & Operations Research projects for an enterprise organization. Using a combination of management skills and specific security system knowledge, you will coordinate the security project through its project stages, with the goal of project completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage scope, requirements, timeline, cost, quality, human resources, communications and integration
  • Facilitate efficient communication across all levels of a project to ensure consistency in reaching the project's goal, and to help in the recognition of any potential opportunities, risks or complications.
  • Overseeing the development of security systems for the protection of facilities, personnel, data and assets
  • 50% of this role is PM and 50% is Scrum Master (this may vary based on the projects)
  • Identify and manage risks / issues and development of mitigation plans
  • Lead meetings for status reporting, scheduling, requirements, resource assignments and deliverables
  • Maintain document control and track project activities and team communications
  • Prepare project reports and dashboards as required by the management team
  • Ensure project repository is built and maintained
  • Develop and review project status with project team and create weekly reports
  • Manage outsourced teams (off-site) including vendor engagements
  • Develop and publish communications to project teams, management and project stakeholders
  • Provide guidance on process and deliverables to the project team
  • Lead project teams in strategic meetings and follow up with meeting notes
This is a 12 month + contract opportunity that will auto renew each year. Excellent opportunity for a long term contract, located in Midtown with close access to MARTA. This role offers flex hours! This company is remote until April 1st 2022. You will then transition to a rotation with minimum 2 days/week work from home. BRAND NEW OFFICE BUILDING! Paid parking, several new amenities.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • Experience in deployment of new security technologies.
  • Proficiency in endpoint, network, cloud and application security.
  • IT Security experience - Records retention, Data Privacy, Identity Management & Governance, general Information Security (InfoSec), etc.
  • Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Experience securing cloud solutions or strong information security background.
  • Knowledge of fundamental project management processes, methodologies (both waterfall and agile)
  • Experience engaging with 3rd party vendors
  • Experience writing requirement documentations - You will be required to write project documentation and be able to speak to the requirements with the business.
  • No job hoppers (most contracts should be a year plus)
  • Excellent communication skills and very consultative

PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Experience conducting security reviews.
  • CISSP, CISA, or other security certifications a plus but not required.(SAFe, CSM, PMP, etc.)
  • Experience as a Scrum Master is a plus
  • Experience with tools & techniques such as Openplan or Jira
  • SAFe Agile experience
