Senior System Engineer, Fulltime, Onsite - Adairsville, GA Job Summary: The Senior System Engineer directs and manages Information Technology strategies and technology-related equipment for the company. The Senior System Engineer has knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV. (MS NAV), and EDI Technology, as well as extensive knowledge of IT security issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Leads large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
- Monitors performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
- Helps define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.
- Analyzes business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
- Assesses vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.
- Troubleshoots hardware and software issues related to internal IT.
- Suggests the purchase of technology equipment to accommodate company growth and changes in support from suppliers,
- Facilitates daily back-ups of data,
- Is responsible for computer security,
- Administers Microsoft 365,
- Ensures the flow of EDI information
- Purchase orders (inbound)
- ASNs (outbound) s
- Remittance advices (inbound)
- Invoicing (outbound)
- Various other THD reports - regarding claims, deductions, etc. (inbound),
- Guides those who are tasked with commission reports, and provides back up for this function,
- Sets up IT related equipment for new employees,
- Trouble shoots hardware issues,
- Sets up new computers.
Skills Required: - Excellent management skills,

Education and Experience: - Bachelor's or higher degree in Information Technology
- Five years of Systems Engineer experience
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV
