Senior Systems Engineer :We are looking to hire a Senior Systems Engineer .Duties will include (but not limited to) design designing, provisioning, installation, configuration, security, maintenance, administration, and support of all data center and infrastructure technologies; including but not limited to VMware vSphere, Linux Server, with more limited Network and Storage management. This is a hands-on position that requires intimate knowledge of enterprise class infrastructure technologies. The Senior Systems Engineer is recognized as a SME (subject matter expert) and a Lead technical member for infrastructure technologies. This position directly supports and interfaces with peers, internal business units, 3rd parties, and vendors.Responsibilities and Duties:Ability to configure, maintain, support and troubleshoot the following key technologies:VMware vSphereLinux Server (Oracle, RHEL)Automation (Ansible, Puppet)Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)Backup Solutions (Veeam, Zerto, etc.)Planning, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing all server hardware and software while ensuring minimal downtime.Diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide training and support to junior members of the team where required.Troubleshoot technical problems with all critical systems, servers, and equipment within the data center environment, handling the more complex and critical problems and responding to system emergencies as required.Manage day-to-day operations by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and repair.Must possess the ability to work well and collaborate with team members and all personnel across the organization.Participate in and/or manage special projects as assigned by Management.Other duties as required.Education/Experience Requirements:BS/A degree in relevant field, unless there is significant relevant work experienceKnowledge and understanding of conceptual infrastructure architectures (Private/Public Cloud, automation, etc.)Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects.Strong experience with Linux server with stringent SLC’sExperience in large VMware or other virtualized environments supporting various service levels Prod, DR, QA etcExperience completing logical and physical design documents.Experience with small/medium enterprise and their consumption of Technology applications.Extensive knowledge of Linux server operating system running a multiple server distributed application.Experience with PostgreSQL, HA, LB and Replication.Broad experience with networks and network storage.Working knowledge of High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Data Management, Capacity Management, and Application Service Resiliency.Strong sense of urgency and self-starting work styleProven analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong oral & written communicationAbility to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentStrong customer service orientation.
