Senior UI Architect

6 months onsite contract in Atlanta, GA

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS• 10 years of proven experience in developing front end, customer and\or client facing applications using web technologies• 3 years of proven experience in leading front-end engineers in architecture, design, process, and technology execution• HTML\CSS\JS/NodeJS/Angular Frameworks master level experience with 3+ years of working on public websites with millions of customers• Experience engineering software within an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure is a must.• Understanding of and experience in delivering usability researched, standards compliant (W3C, XHTML) and accessible (WCAG, 508) websites• Master level front end experience in object-oriented and best-practice Angular/NodeJS• Effectively maintain a customer centric focus, both internal, key stakeholders, and end customers with high levels of satisfaction• Ability to work in a fast-paced technology environment, interacting with product owners, business analysts, testers and developers• Proven ability to deliver responsive, mobile first front-end experiences• Experience with Agile working models, TDD, and enterprise security models• Demonstrable experience with DevOps principles, practices and tools.• Understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle, building CI/CD pipelines and practicing Test Driven Development is a requirement.• A BS/MS degree in a technical, scientific, or related field.• Payment Industry expertise is highly desired.• PCI/PII/PHI understanding is a must• Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.• Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data.• Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.• Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority

Responsibilities:• Provide leadership, direction, and own the technology stack roadmap for the application portfolio• Hands on development building reusable frameworks supporting POCs is a must• Present solutions to Delta Enterprise Architecture and development teams for acceptance.• Bring new technology thinking and lead developers to embrace new tools and innovative solutions to solve business needs.• Lead and mentor multiple development teams spanning global locations• Help plan, design, build and User Interfaces with deep integrations into the back-end• Participate in entire project life cycle from design interactions with the business, prototyping, estimation, design, development, QA and delivery• Spearhead modern, leading edge, scalable, high quality, and modular front-end solutions to business and customer problems• Build training, knowledge sharing, and tech adoption programs for development teams to fast track intake of new architectures and solutions, including leading edge tooling• Influence, collaborate and communicate effectively with various leaders across technology and business functions• Help lead the API first front end modelling for Delta• Define the front-end frameworks and technology stacks, and foster adoption and model proven delivery• Serve as subject matter expert and knowledge store for front end technology, architecture, and developer tooling• Use solution and customer-oriented focus and use rigorous logic and algorithms to solve difficult problems with effective solutions• Direction demonstrates deep knowledge and understanding of the business, non-functional requirements, and organizational and technical capabilities of the enterprise• Contribute to and communicate enterprise standards and procedures
