General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a world leader in Defense IT Systems Integration and Services, is seeking an Service Delivery Manager to join its Air Force (AF) Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Enterprise Product Support (EPS) team.We provide modernization for the integrated sustainment of the AF DCGS which also includes lab support for operational, production and test environments. This position is located at Robins AFB, VA.In this position you manage all service delivery-related processes and the delivery of projects from engineering to operations. You act as the service owner for all end-user and customer-facing IT services and solutions and ensure end-to-end delivery of services based on Government-approved IT Service Management (ITSM) processes:Manages all service delivery-related processes and the delivery of projects from engineering to operations, acts as the service owner for all end-user and customer-facing IT services and solutions, and ensures end-to-end delivery of services based on Government-approved IT Service Management (ITSM) processes:
Works across the TOimplement innovative solutions and automation that increase operational efficiencies.
Ensures sound service design and seamless integration of projects into the DCGS enterprise.
Ensures all systems are maintained and operated in accordance with approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) at agreed levels outlined in formal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Assists the DCGS in managing an enterprise-level IT service portfolio that provides customers with a pre-defined set of available products and services. Identifies, prioritizes, and recommends service opportunities that create business value.
Manages the portfolio of services delivered under this TO and maintains a complete and accurate service pipeline list of all services under consideration or development; a service catalog of all operational services and those available for deployment; and a repository containing information about services that are phased out or retired.
Basic Qualifications:
BS/MS degree ; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
10 years of experience with COMSEC standards and processes
Security+ required.
Program Manager 801 or IT Project Manager 802 compliant.
