- 4-yr College Degree preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- ServiceNow System Administrator or Developer
- ITIL Foundation certification
- CAMP, CSAM, CITAM, or CHAMP certification from IAITAM
- Assists in developing standard IT configuration and asset management methodology
- Supports the CMDB Admin, CI Owners, and professional services in the development of CMDB policy, processes, and knowledge base
- Works with the CMDB Admin, CI Owners, and professional services to improve CI data integrity regarding classes, naming conventions, attributes, data sources, and relationships
- Assists CMDB Admin and CI Owners in conducting and reporting on configuration audits and reconciliation
- Maintains CIs to ensure CMDB accuracy and completeness
- Drives visibility on process adherence and compliance improvement opportunities
- Works with other ITSM processes to understand new requirements and identify how Configuration management can support or replace
- Support and administer the tool for configuration and asset management, ServiceNow Discovery, and additional applications or modules as assigned
- Conduct discovery workshops to uncover and consolidate disparate data sources while managing the expected business outcomes, use cases, the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM), and platform governance
- Create and document requirements for efficient process design that includes self-service options with limited manual effort
- Manage the operational integration and centralization of IT Asset Management processes, such as requests and procurement, reports and dashboards, data accuracy/integrity, and extending the scope of Asset Management
- Demonstrate experience in implementing and managing ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, Hardware and Software Asset Management processes, procedures, and governance
- Draft technical process documentation
- Create, configure, and manage integration endpoints using various authentication methods like OAuth, Basic, and HMAC
- Create and maintain web service technologies for inbound and outbound transactions (RESTful, SOAP, JSON, HTTP, SSL, XML, and GIT)
- Design and build connections/spokes/service graphs using Integration Hub (Automation Engine) in to build connectivity between ServiceNow and proprietary and non-proprietary applications and authoritative data sources

- Proven expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB & Asset, and Service Mapping implementation, support, and maturation in a large IT environment
- Agile (SCRUM) Development Methodology & tools (Jira)
- Experience with programming languages, i.e., Javascript, XML, HTML, Angular, REST
- 2+ years of experience supporting and implementing ServiceNow web service integrations and developing APIs
- Design, implementation, and support of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Asset, and Service Mapping processes including:
- Day to day CMDB & Asset health analysis and CI reconciliation
- Reporting and Dashboard Management
- Designing efficient processes and monitoring compliance adherence activities for CI & Asset Owners
- Interact with various internal support groups and ServiceNow governance board to help manage CMDB and Asset demand, processes, and integrations
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
- Able to identify and address process gaps and inefficiencies impacting overall CMDB & Asset health and completeness
- Interface with internal and external support specialists regarding problem determination and resolution
