RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in Alpharetta, GA.

Responsibilities: Site Reliability Engineer will be monitoring on-going support of critical, high revenue business applications Ensure 24/7 technical support is provided to customers Collaborate with other SRE team members to ensuring development and operations work is delivered in full and on time (agile/product sprints) Working with diverse technical and non-technical teams, including Development, QA, IT Operations, Customer Operations and Project Management teams Delivery of resilient application stacks via "Infrastructure as Code" as code, and other DevOps practices Diagnosis and resolution of complex system and application issues As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will write and maintain systems/application documentation for technical and non-technical audiences

Depending on Organizational Design - Decision needs to be made: Manage Customer Reliability Engineering Activities driving Application Monitoring, Metrics, Incident Reviews and Long-Term Actions Support BISO Activities implementing InfoSec changes and license driven upgrades

REQUIREMENTS: BS Engineering or Computer Science or relevant work experience 3+ years of experience working in a SRE or DevOps related capacity Coding and scripting experience (Bash, Python or equivalent) Configuration Management tools (Salt, Puppet or equivalent) Well versed in infrastructure as code using tools (Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation) Professional experience working with a cloud provider service Hands-on experience of Linux server administration Exposure to application security testing (source code review and web/mobile application penetration tests) Knowledge of information security principles and implementation of tools Analytic and troubleshooting experience Continuous Integration/Delivery tools (Gitlab or Jenkins) Experience working with containerized workloads (Docker and Kubernetes) Experience with Log Management tools (Datadog, Graylog or Splunk) Knowledge of change control and associated procedures Experience with any high-level programming language (Python, Ruby, Java or Go) Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong and enthusiastic technologist, able to demonstrate a broad technical knowledge The candidate must demonstrate an ability to work across departments Desirable - AWS Certification or security certification
