Title : Snowflake/Teradata/Informatica/UNIX/SQL/Oracle/Infa-IDQLocation : Atlanta, GA HybridTerm : Long Term Contract/Fulltime/Permanent Note : Only independent consultant can apply for this position who can work on W2. Teradata/Infa/UNIX/SQL/Oracle/Infa-IDQ Hadoop Developer with Python TrackNeed a hands-on developer who has worked on L1/L2 Support - Snowflake Data Engineer (Hadoop, Python, Scala, and experience in L1 production support and that can interface with the customer as a lead role. CORE: Unix/Linux operating system and shell scripting, Core Java, C, Python and/or shell scripting, OR SQL + any additional Big Data coursework and/or experience. Additional Desired Skills: Scoop/Hive/Impala/Ava/Spark/Python etc., needs to be trained – we need some internal or academy training sessions for these skills. - customer would ideally like candidates from Atlanta because that is where the customer leadership and this team is located. If the profiles are not Atlanta based, the candidate may need to travel/visit the Atlanta office, one day of the week (possibly Wednesday’s).
General Skills Expected: Knowledge and hands-on experience in Agile practices (e.g., Kanban, Scrum). Working knowledge of JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high-quality development environment. Use of software engineering best practices, SDLC including design review, code review, and unit-testing. Teradata Developer with Informatica Track Education: Bachelor in computer science (need to have) + Masters in Data Science / Analytics / Data engineering – (will be excellent to ensure productivity on day 1 + technical aptitude to learning the more complex concepts quickly.) CORE: Classes completed and knowledge acquired in coding, programming, database management, data warehousing, and systems development. Experience with large databases (DB2/Teradata/Oracle etc.) and Informatica ETL tools + UNIX skills. Additional Desired Skills: Data analysis, strong verbal and written communication skills, experience with Oracle, SQL, XTML, and Database related skills.
