Description We are inviting applications for a Social Media Manager based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, to join our team in the government sector. As a Social Media Manager, you will be tasked with managing our social media profiles, developing brand awareness, and executing campaign planning. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities Develop and manage online brand awareness campaigns to enhance our social media presence. Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva for creating engaging social media content. Analyze data using Facebook Insights and Google+ to improve social media strategies. Manage and update the database regularly to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Plan and execute online advertisement campaigns to reach a larger audience. Utilize analytics tools to monitor and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns. Create engaging blog content related to our services and industry trends. Collaborate with the team to plan and develop content calendars for social media platforms. Manage social media marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with our objectives and brand identity. Requirements Proven experience in managing social media platforms such as Facebook, Google+, and others in a government environment Demonstrated proficiency in using social media analytics tools like Facebook Insights to drive campaign success and optimize content Expertise in using Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva for creating visually compelling social media content Experience in executing successful social media advertising campaigns Solid understanding of social media KPIs and ability to interpret and act on digital analytics data Excellent blogging skills to engage with the online community and generate inbound traffic Ability to develop strategies for increasing brand awareness through social media Strong understanding of social media trends and ability to leverage them for campaign planning Proven experience in database management and segmentation for targeted marketing Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to align social media strategy with overall government objectives.
