What We Need

FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a Software Developer within our Hotel Connections division. This position falls under our TA Connections line of business. In this role, you will develop software solutions to accommodate our unique data, process, and product requirements in a Microsoft environment.

How We Work

As a Software Developer, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. FLEETCOR will set you up for success by providing:

  • Company-issued equipment + remote access

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Managing and maintaining web applications across multiple technology stacks.
  • Building and testing REST APIs to exchange data between systems.
  • Utilizing documenting tools such as Swagger for APIs. Build reports in SSRS utilizing TSQL for data.
  • Creating and designing responsive web applications. Write unit test ensuring well tested functions.
  • Participating in daily scrum meetings and track work progress through VersionOne and Jira. Utilize
  • Git and TFS for source control. Build and design UI Mockups using UXpin and AdobeXD.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Minimum of 1 year of software development experience
  • Expert knowledge in building and consuming web services
  • Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, XML, and JSON
  • Thorough understanding of OOP, SOLID, RESTful services, dependency injection
  • Strong experience with SQL Server and database design
  • Strong Object-Oriented design and development skills
  • Experience with Entity Framework and WPF is preferred
  • Knowledge with SDLC processes and tools used for development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of domain driven design, software design patterns and design principles
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Proven excellence in communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills
