The Desktop Support Sr will provide leadership to a team responsible for supporting workstations running Windows 7, land phones, cell phones, desktops, and network printers in a 24x7 operating environment. The Helpdesk Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that departmental standard operating procedures are followed by all team members. The Helpdesk Supervisor is also responsible for proactively monitoring helpdesk call volumes and ensuring that adequate resources are available to provide helpdesk phone coverage. The Helpdesk Supervisor will report to the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Manager and must coordinate activities with other business units within the division to meet the department’s overall objectives. Strong Desktop support troubleshooting skills, strong in 2010 OS support.
Experience required:- 5 years overall IT experience
- Experience Performing hardware installation and configuration of printers, scanners, web cameras, projectors, etc. In-depth knowledge of or experience with repairing HP printers is a plus
- Experience Performing software installation/configuration, including but not limited to windows operating system and Microsoft Office products.
Essential Education/Certification(s): A+ Certification or hands-on equivalent experience in computer repair or any combination of education and experience that would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge, and ability to perform the job functions.Non-Technical Skill(s): The applicant must be able to manage multiple projects and/or tasks concurrently. Must be a self-starter & be able to use own judgment/initiative to undertake activities with minimal supervision. The Candidate must also have excellent oral & written communications skills as well as the ability to work alone or within a team environment.Organizational Expectations: The successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively with others to achieve team & organizational goals; prioritize projects and/or tasks; provide constructive input to achieve team goals; deliver a customer-focused, responsive service to customers; support efforts to enhance business efficiency & effectiveness; demonstrate a positive, “can-do” attitude; respond constructively to new information, changing conditions, & unexpected obstacles
