Lead and manage agile teams of Front-End engineers to build, deliver, and support strategic commercial initiatives at scale. Responsible for the managing engineering of Inspire's enterprise Front-End platforms (Web & Mobile), enabling value-driven business use cases and deep analytics.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage 1-3 development teams leading technical execution and delivery of new initiatives
- Ensure that technical solutions are in line with company standards in respect to architecture, security, compliance, testing and product direction
- Implement industry best practices and tools to continually improve teams' ability to deliver and maintain solutions
- Attract, Mentor, guide, coach, coordinate training opportunities and support individual growth of direct reports
- Four year degree in computer science, data science, information science or related field, or equivalent work
- A master's degree in computer science, data science, information science or related field, or equivalent work (preferred)
- 10 years of experience building and supporting large scale and highly available technology solutions and directly managing or leading a team(s) of data engineers and developers.
- Experience in retail, restaurant, and/or eCommerce industry preferred
- Working within an Agile development environment preferred
- Able to manage development team to deliverables: on time, scope and. budget
- Experience working with distributed teams
- Able to present complex technical concepts to business partners and senior management
- Experience leading teams with deep technical experience with Front-End development (e.g., React, React-Native, REST) and technology platforms (e.g., NextJS, Cloudflare, Contentful, Azure)
- Deep understanding of creating and integrating REST-based web services
- Proficiency with source control and release technologies (e.g., Git and Azure DevOps) and practices (e.g., CI/CD and automation)
- Good soft skills, able to demonstrate solutions to business partners
- Cross-Functional internal team exposure - has worked previously with Product, Design, QA and Delivery leads.
- Can help onboard and provide support to developers as they learn in their careers.
