Description We are recruiting for a compliance leadership role within the healthcare industry. The hire will be responsible for maintaining compliance with Medicaid and HIPAA regulations and overseeing enterprise risk management processes. This role also includes conducting operational audits for healthcare organizations and managing the compliance function within the organization. Manage the compliance function within a healthcare or government contracting organization Oversee the compliance with Medicaid and HIPAA regulations, as well as other applicable federal and state regulations Work closely with government healthcare programs and ensure their regulations are adhered to Execute enterprise risk management processes to identify and mitigate potential risks Conduct operational audits for healthcare and/or payroll organizations to ensure compliance and identify areas of improvement Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulations Monitor changes in regulations and implement necessary updates in policies and procedures Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements Be a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and ensure all the regulations are met Maintain updated knowledge of Health & Health Care Law and apply this knowledge in day-to-day operations.Requirements Must hold a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of compliance, preferably within the healthcare sector Proficient in Medicaid Regulation, Medicaid Program, and Medicaid Expertise in Health Care Audits, specifically with Medicare and Medicaid Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA Compliance and Patient Privacy Rule Familiarity with HIPAA-Regulated environments Proficiency in Health & Health Care Law Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills for drafting and implementing compliance policies Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
