The opportunity: The Senior Executive Compensation Consultant - Operations is a key member of the Total Rewards team and is responsible for supporting executive compensation initiatives including administration of the short-term incentive program, benchmarking executive roles, job evaluations, and developing communications as well as providing consultative, planning, project management and analytical support for our businesses. This role will be based in Atlanta, GA. How you will impact WestRock: Support the design, development and administration of executive compensation programs that align with the Company’s business strategy and enhance the ability to attract, retain and motivate top talent. Evaluate senior management positions, determine appropriate levels and collaborate with HR business partners on developing recommendations for executive compensation packages, promotional increases, pay adjustments, retention strategies and separations. Lead the annual executive planning process for base salary, short-term incentive and long-term incentive programs. Perform executive compensation benchmarking analyses with focus on external competitiveness and internal equity. Partner with Finance on forecasting expense of current executive compensation program and cost implications of potential program changes. In collaboration with Finance, prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports on short- and long-term incentive plans for on-going accruals, regulatory reporting requirements and annual budgeting process. Manage compensation survey database (e.g., MarketPay) including updating with refreshed market data and position matching for the Company’s executive and senior leadership roles. Coordinate data submission for annual and ad-hoc executive compensation surveys. Support administration of equity programs with planning, reporting, compliance, and communication. Identify, evaluate, recommend, and implement plans and processes for streamlining and efficiency improvements related to executive compensation. Perform other executive compensation duties and projects as required. What you need to succeed: Required/Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of executive compensation experience in a large corporate, multi-business or line, public traded company. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Economics/Finance or related field. Experience in annual executive compensation planning, benchmarking executive positions, and survey participation and database management. Advanced competency in using Excel, PowerPoint, Word and professional information technology systems. Additional/Preferred Qualifications A relentless focus on standard work, process documentation, and continuous improvement. Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or working towards such a certification is preferred. Capacity to prioritize, process and execute multiple projects across numerous stakeholders. A high-level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong critical thinking skills. Integrity and ethics in the handling of confidential company information. Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and work well with others.
