Cooperative is seeking a

Sr. Financial Analyst to help lead Vision 2025 within our Finance Department. The company was formed in 1976 by a group of Electric Membership Cooperatives with a vision for a single enterprise solution provider to serve data processing, IT, and operational needs to cooperatives, public utility districts, and municipal utilities. Through carefully curated acquisitions and partnerships, Meridian Cooperative has unified multiple leading-edge companies under its umbrella in order to truly execute that vision. Today, the Meridian Suite serves over 500 utilities across the country with industry leading enterprise software solutions. This person will have the opportunity to shape and evolve a newly defined role within an innovative technology company that is quickly realizing its five-year vision. Reporting to the VP of Accounting, the perfect candidate will be responsible for developing financial models and analyses that support and advance strategic initiatives, prepares annual budgets and quarterly financial forecasts for individual business units and the consolidated organization.You will develop new processes, internal management reporting and financial statement board packages. An advisor on projects in order to drive cost efficiency and compliance with approved budget. Prepare and communicate yearly variance reporting and comprehensive analysis for budget, forecasts and actuals.

Knowledge/Skills: Proven experience in financial modeling and budgeting for multiple functional areasAccustomed to and preference for working in a fast-paced environmentIntermediate to advanced expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPointProficient analytical, forecasting and problem-solving skillsGather data and analyze periodic cost projections and budget dataThorough understanding of techniques and methods for accounting, budgeting, cost tracking and financial projectionsDemonstrate organizational and planning skills Conceptual thinker and ability to quickly understand and grasp new concepts

Education/Skills: The ideal candidate for this position will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance with a minimum

8 years of experience developing financial models/analysis. Guided by the
