Job Description SummaryCoach, drive and lead lean behaviors, principles, and tools across EHS and Quality at Gas Power GE Vernova. Drive cultural transformation resulting in step-change in operational business metrics.Job DescriptionReporting to the Gas Power EHS and Quality Lean Leader at GE Vernova, the EHS and Quality Lean Manager role will support the vision to create and maintain a quality and safety culture throughout the entire Gas Power organization in accordance with the GEV lean business strategy. In addition, this position will collaborate to develop and execute the lean road maps for quality and safety in collaboration with Quality, GSC, Business-line and EHS Leadership teams. Working with cross functional teams, this role provides support to the lean roadmap execution to enable fatality free operations and deliver world class quality products and services. This role also ensures that operations adhere to our Life Saving Rules and promote systemic root cause analysis for significant incidents and eliminating reoccurrence.Responsibilities:

Collaborate to shape and operationalize the continuous improvement vision for specific areas across the EHS and Quality organizations in accordance with the business Operations & Lean strategy.

Translate the vision into goals, objectives and strategies resulting in cross-functional transformation.

Work with leaders across the supported organizations to assess current baselines and determine the processes to be improved using the Lean methodologies.

Partner with leaders to optimize monthly operating rhythm (MOR), with clear outcomes that deliver positive improvement in both Quality and EHS performance as measured by our TTIs and KPIs.

On selected initiatives, lead, coach and mentor deployment of the full Lean toolbox. VSM, PSR, MOR, Standard Work, Kaizen events driving process efficiency and effectiveness.

Support simplification of the complex processes and manage cross-functional relationships to support business impact.

Lead Value Stream Matrix sessions focusing on waste elimination, process simplification and lead-time reduction in key activities.

Active support on best practices sharing and read-across implementation with key Quality and EHS stakeholders., (plan, do, check, act), acting as a conduit to accelerate cross business progress.

Partner as One Team across the business to align, prioritize and focus on critical efforts.

Deliver consistent, measurable, and sustainable year-over-year results through Lean Roadmaps.

Leverage Lean Methodology to drive Continuous Improvement on priority areas with a "One Team" mindset. Support cross-functional teams in building problem solving capabilities and leading kaizen events to eliminate waste, drive simplification and ensure all operations perform in a consistent and best-in-class manner.

Through coaching, communication and best practice sharing actions to accelerate cross-functional results, deployment of standards and promotion of our GE Vernova continuous improvement culture, ensuring sustainment of the lean principles across the organization.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge

10+ years of experience in one or more of the following: EHS, Quality, Lean.

Strong proven track record of delivering on business KPI, ideally with strong emphasis on successfully leveraging Lean methodologies.

Desired Characteristics:

Lean practitioner, capable and experienced on facilitating kaizen events and coaching the core tools such as Daily Management, structured Problem Solving, Value Stream and Process Mapping, Standard Work, Transactional Process Improvement.

Demonstrated influencing and lean problem-solving abilities; High Say-do ratio

Ability to listen, learn, act and scale

Proven change driver with focus on executing efficiently in a complex, diverse and dynamic cross functional global team

Highly collaborative and transparent, with effective interpersonal and communication skills. Embraces and promote a One Team mindset.

Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects including the ability to collaborate, plan, and executive execute programs

Project management skills

The base pay range for this position is $154,800.00 - 258,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
