In fact, a majority of the most compelling Fintech disruptors bank with us. Our clients include: Beyond Meat, Shopify, HelloFresh, and Etsy, just to name a few. We help our clients grow, too. You are an advocate for the user and the design process and care deeply about all the details because you know it's these details and moments that matter that enable great end-to-end experiences. You embrace ambiguity and thrive in complexity.

In this role:

    • Deep Experience crafting end-to-end, omni-channel experiences through a deep understanding of user research, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.
    • An ability to thrive in ambiguity and work independently, quickly and reliably in an agile development environment with cross-functional partners to deliver omni-channel experiences, including desktop, mobile web and mobile app experiences.
    • An ability to advocate for the design process while balancing product requirements and technical capabilities.
    • Experience delivering on multiple projects in various stages of the product lifecycle in a highly asynchronous, dynamic environment.
Nice to have
  • 5-7 years designing digital product experiences in an agile development environment.
  • Experience designing digital products in the financial services industry.
  • Experience working with design systems and style guides.
  • Knowledge of Figma and other tools for generating low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes, as well as JIRA for partnering with developers, and an understanding of current web technology capabilities and cross-device considerations.
  • Bachelor's in Design, Information Architecture, HCI, OR equivalent project/portfolio experience.

What you'll do
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to understand business objectives, needs, and constraints.
  • Use strong storytelling and presentation skills to communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of human-centered design process in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including product ideation and definition, UX design, and user research, detailed design and optimization.
  • Communicate complex design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences at varying levels of the organization with minimal conflict and complications between collaborative and cross-functional personnel.
  • Provide insights to the product development team and document user goals, needs, motivations and pain points through user personas, use cases, and experience maps and make recommendations to improve the user experience and create new concepts to bring them to life.
  • Partner with user research team to execute research plans and agenda.
  • Partner with content strategists to drive content-first designs.
  • Partner with developers and QA engineers to ensure the delivered experience aligns with the vision.
  • Create high quality UX deliverables/assets based on user goals and priorities, including annotated wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, high-fidelity prototypes and production ready final assets.
