Job Title: Sr Project ManagerLocation: Atlanta, GA

What does a great Project Manager, Sr do?
  • Plan and supervise activities for multiple, large-scale projects.
  • Develop and manage project expectations
  • Initiative and lead project planning activities, such as scope definition and management, risk management, communication management, etc.
  • Create and maintain a project schedule for each project by identifying and monitoring: Overall project timeline, project milestones, tasks, resources, ETAs, tasks, dependencies, and critical paths.
  • Control and track project performance, time allocations, cost, and quality by constantly evaluating project progress and conducting regular team status meetings.
  • Coordinate meetings, as needed, to initiate working sessions, resolve project issues, etc.
  • Ensure audit compliance

Required:
  • Minimum education: Master’s Degree or equivalent Project Management work experience required.
  • 5 – 7 years of professional experience in a client-facing project management and/or consulting role.

Preferred:
  • Experience with client-facing software development and/or systems integration projects
  • Advanced ability to accurately gather, analyze and interpret data, identify and define problems, and make recommendations for resolution.
  • Advanced knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies
  • PMI PMP or CAPM certification
  • Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification a plus
  • Experience working in the Information Technology and/or Financial industry

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • Advanced ability to plan and proactively manage project financials/budgets, report progress as required both externally and internally, and ensure profitability according to assigned targets
  • Ability to build relationships with and influence other functional areas.
  • Crisp communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build consensus.
  • Problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in the development project lifecycle
  • Extensive experience in meeting planning, facilitation, and public speaking
  • Travel required: Occasional travel required (less than 25%)
