Sr. Tax Accountant

ACS Solutions has an immediate need for a

• Reconciliation of general ledger detail to billing detail and Vertex tax reports.
• Research and analysis of state and local tax laws to determine the taxability of products and services sold and utilized by the Client. & Subsidiaries.
• Review and resolution of state tax notice—including preparation of letters of understanding and memorandums detailing actions taken by the company.
• Review of sales and use tax returns payment requests.
• Preparation of business registration documents.
• Administrative tasks related to maintenance of state and local tax files.

• A detailed understanding and use of Vertex tax application software and detailed knowledge of and ability to utilize the Oracle software platform.
• High proficiency in state tax audit mitigation related to sales, use and property tax.
• A high proficiency in data manipulation and analytics using Excel, Google Sheets, etc.
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Undergrad degree in Accounting or similar.
