Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Workday releases and new feature implementations based on Workday and clients release schedules partnering with HR product teams on change management.
  • Define/refine DevOps metrics. Ensure appropriate plans are developed to mitigate the “reds” and lead projects, as required, to meet the desired metric goals.
  • Develop, standardize, and sustain daily management systems based on metrics to deliver on Workday DevOps goals.
  • Lead compliance initiatives to ensure adherence to IT Risk policies. Support internal and external audits as required.
  • Collaborate with HR product teams to identify Workday product gaps/issues and partner with Workday to resolve those to meet requirements.
  • Coordinate dependencies between the HR product areas and ensure alignment to release goals.
  • Lead clients Workday tenant strategy meeting HR product and separation requirements.
  • Work to remove impediments and facilitate continuous improvements in DevOps processes.
  • Guide and coach products teams in agile best practices to ensure successful implementation of Workday modules and projects.
  • Execute in a fast-paced delivery mode and focus on delivering tasks to meet the product release goals while aligning to DevOps governance processes.
  • Experience in DevOps tools like Rally
  • Proven track-record in working collaboratively across teams to facilitate optimal outcomes based on the needs of the customer.

Technical Expertise:
  • Strong track record with at least 10 years of prior experience of working in an enterprise SaaS solution, like Workday or COTS ERPs (like Oracle or SAP).
  • Experience in process design and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements, like SoX (Sarbanes Oxley).
  • Demonstrated understanding of Lean or Agile principles.
  • Proven experience as IT Product Manager/Product Owner/Application owner
  • Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of business, and HR processes and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operations across the product ecosystem and make tradeoffs based on key business priorities.
  • Evangelizes new technology and transformational processes and capable of partnering with functional and technical stakeholders to imagine, design and implement solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and influencing across a complex, global matrix organization.
  • Ability to decompose problems and make decisions when problems or solutions are not 100% defined.
  • Garners direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas, and leverages chains of indirect influence
  • Passion for working in a global matrix organization, energizing, and inspiring matrixed teams across diverse cultures
  • Ability to proactively identify and remove obstacles or barriers.
