Description We are offering an opportunity to join our team in the manufacturing sector based in Pooler, Georgia, United States as a Staff Accountant. In this role, you will be actively involved in managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger. This opportunity offers a short-term contract employment.Responsibilities: Manage and oversee accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency Conduct regular bank reconciliations and rectify any discrepancies promptly Maintain and update the general ledger regularly for accurate financial reporting Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded Carry out month-end close processes to finalize financial transactions for the month Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks Resolve any issues or discrepancies in financial reports and statements Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards in the manufacturing industry Continuously evaluate current accounting practices and procedures for improvements Collaborate with other team members to achieve overall organizational goals. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or related field within the Manufacturing industry Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations Knowledge and experience in maintaining General Ledger Ability to process and record Journal Entries Experience in performing Month End Close activities Proficiency in using NetSuite software for accounting tasks Experience in operating Oracle software for financial management Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing and paying bills, business payments, and payroll functions Knowledge and experience in SAP for managing business operations and customer relations.
