Understands client needs from HR at a strategic level, ensuring those needs are properly integrated into HR work plans and priorities across the HR team.

Influences and shapes business decisions while applying expertise about the business and broad knowledge of HR.

Partners with business leadership in succession planning, leadership development/deployment and larger scale transformations in talent, both short term and long term.

Coaches and counsels' business unit leadership on how to achieve business results through effective people strategies.

Uses metrics and data to support recommendations.

Advises clients on organizational and team effectiveness.

Partners with compensation to develop pay leveling strategies that create competitiveness, internal equity and career mobility.

Ensures enterprise plans requiring client coordination are well implemented (salary planning, stock award allocation, performance management) and achieve maximum value.

Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Position Requirements

Requires BA/BS in related field and a minimum of 10 years human resources experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences

MA/MS/MBA preferred.

HR related designation strongly preferred.

Experience supporting Government Health Plans (Medicaid, Medicare, FHP, etc.).

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary range for this specific position is $164,000.00 to $295,200.00.Locations: California; Colorado; Hawaii; Nevada; New York; Washington State; Jersey City, NJIn addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
