Description: This position is for a Subsystem Design Engineer supporting ADP in Marietta, Georgia. The successful applicant will use their technical expertise to design, develop and test aircraft subsystems installations. The candidate will apply his or her understanding of the technical principles of structural design toward the solution of technical problems. The candidate will create 3-D models of aircraft systems installations, assemblies, and details using CATIA, participate in trade studies, create and maintain performance specifications, perform analysis and conduct tests. The candidate will work under some supervision of more experienced engineers and will be expected to coordinate with other teams within the program.aeroengaerosubsystemsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor degree or above in an engineering technical discipline. Experience with CATIA V5, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Creo, Unigraphics, NX or equivalent 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool Experience with aircraft subsystem design, installation or troubleshooting Current Secret Clearance requiredDesired Skills: Experience with CATIA V5/3DX Experience with hand analysis for initial part layout Experience with sheet metal design and machined detail design Experience with Environmental Control System, Hydraulics or Fuel Systems physical integration into aircraft. Experience with harness installation design.
