Position Description
- Coordinates and supports the supply chain functions for one or more clinical areas.
- Ensures that supplies are ordered, received, and are readily available for clinical staff and physicians.
- In collaboration with clinical leaders and Materials Management, establishes and maintains inventory levels that meet clinical needs while also adhering to budget guidelines.
- Supervises the submission of material requisitions for all items associated with Supply sub-accounts.
- Develops and presents monthly reports, up to the Director level, to document financial and inventory performance.
Position RequirementsREQUIRED:
- College graduate or equivalent.
- Five (5) years clinical experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to perform mathematical calculations.
- Prior hospital experience in management of materials.
- Ability to operate a personal computer.
- Prior supervisory experience.
