Position: System Administrator/Security Analyst

Duration: Permanent Hire

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite) Our Client is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our IT team as a System Administrator/Security Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the company's computer systems, servers, and networks, as well as monitoring and analyzing the organization's security posture.The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of computer systems and networks, as well as experience in security analysis and incident response. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks
  • Monitor system performance and security
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures
  • Maintain documentation and inventory of all hardware and software
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Provide technical support to users as needed
  • Monitor security systems and networks for threats
  • Analyze security events and alerts
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Respond to and manage security incidents
  • Conduct investigations and implement containment measures
  • Coordinate with other teams and departments to resolve incidents

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of computer systems and networks
  • Experience with Windows operating systems
  • Familiarity with networking technologies and protocols
  • Experience in security analysis and incident response
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
