Complete Description:Must Be local to Metro Atlanta THE TAX CLEARANCE LETTER COMPLIANCE ITEM, IS DUE AT THE TIME OF CANDIDATE SUBMISSION Job Summary:Under direct supervision, installs, configures, and supports a local area network, wide area network, internet system, computers, desktops and/or mobile devices. Performs necessary maintenance to support network availability. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:-Designs, configures, and tests computer hardware, networking software and operating system software-Diagnoses hardware and software problems, replace defective components-Escalates problems to vendor and/or developer for advanced debugging or software correction-Evaluates new technologies or solutions to improve service and efficiency of systems-Monitors network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made-Operates consoles to monitor performance of the computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use-Performs data backups and disaster recovery operations-Performs routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records-Plans, coordinates, and implements network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware-Prepares user instructions and documentation for the installation and operation of software and software upgrades-Perform daily and long-term operational and strategic management of hardware and software-Plan, monitor, and record hardware assets and/or software license to make sure they complied with vendor contracts in different software tools Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college
Experience with SolarWinds Service Desk, Asset Management, and ServiceNow STRONGLYdesired.
  • DOR will conduct a background check on all candidates considered for the position. Individuals must be compliant with Georgia tax obligations.
  • Individuals having any overdue and unpaid taxes, or any felony convictions (no matter how long ago) will not be offered the position or hired.
  • All employees will be fingerprinted.
