Position Overview

Responsible for developing hardware and software solutions for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment product enhancements.
Systems Engineer will report to Head of Architecture, AC EVSE, eMobility.

Responsibilities

Generate proof of concept for new product requirements based on the existing Hardware & Software platform
Specify technical requirements for development team
Perform feasibility study for new technology adapatations and cost benefits
Contribute to product standardization for EV Interoperability standards
Perform product Intellectual property maintenance
Identify technical improvements for product roadmap

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Bachelors or Masters in Electronics and Computer Engineering or related field
Experience in Embedded Hardware/ Software Integration
Experience in Application development in C, Python for AM335X embedded platform
Exposure to data analytics, cloud solutions, application development and test automation
Knowledge of electrical systems, specifically EV charging solutions is desired
Experience in driving internal quality steps for root cause evaluation of customer issues

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Working Experience of communication protocols SAE J1772, HPGP, OCPP, Open ADR etc used in EV management
Experience in EV Interoperability, Energy management, demand response and load balancing in EV Infrastructures
