Job DescriptionCandidate will provide technical and programmatic expertise to USAF organization developing operational and test electronic warfare mission data. The candidate will provide intelligence mining, intelligence analysis, detailed mission data programming and threat database maintenance. The candidate will interface with government counterparts to ensure that all technical requirements are met and kept current based on the latest intelligence data. Position is full-time during normal duty hours at Robins AFB. Travel (less than 25%) is required for this position.Essential Job Responsibilities- DoD Electronic Warfare (EW) reprogramming knowledge and experience is required. EW developmental and operational test experience desired.
- Demonstrated engineering experience in developing EW mission data systems requirements and EW threat waveform simulations.
- Design, program, generate, test, validate, and maintain EW system operational Mission Data files.
- Support both the initial development of and updates to EW system Mission Data.
- Conduct and monitor lab/bench testing and verification of Mission Data software.
- Develop and update Aircrew EW system handbooks.
- Support/participate in EW ground and flight tests performed on Mission Data software.
- Experience working with Intelligence Data and systems.Knowledge of government EW intelligence data systems to include EWIRDB, NGES, CED, MEPED, etc.
- Knowledge and understanding of how enemy threat RADAR systems operate for purposes of programming mission data for effective threat detection. Knowledge of jamming techniques desired.
- Utilize validated intelligence reports, Modeling & Simulation (M&S) data, Foreign Material Exploitation (FME) data, user requests, and other EW system threat/emitter and related data in support of Mission Data development.
- 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Master's Degree desired.
