Job Description This role is part of the Take 2 program, which is a program designed for those who took a career break of two years or more and are looking to re-enter the workforce. This program provides you with 12 week support system in the form of mentorship, professional and technical learning paths, and a community of the program's alumni network to support your career re-entry journey! We will make you a full-time employee upon hire, and eligible for benefits on day 1 including our robust paid family leave policy! A Take 2 Alumni liaison will contact you before your first day and provide additional support as you go through your first 12 weeks. Job Description There are multiple openings for this role within our IT and Engineering Product Development teams with slightly different technical skills needed. All involve contribution to GM's development modernization activities and could include CI/CD platform enablement and automation engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or business capability development. Requirements:

  • 2+ years ofsoftware development (Java) professional experience.
  • Must have taken 2+ years away from career field to qualify for this Take 2 role.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or related field.
  • Positive relationshipfocusand the ability to further collaborate within and across teams.
