Responsibilities

Administrative

Answer phones, schedule appointments, make copies, and build client files.

Tax Preparation

Complete all tax forms according to IRS regulations and policies.

Provide Taxpayers with sufficient information and conduct interviews to ensure accurate tax preparation.

Refer to IRS tax regulations and ethics materials to determine the accuracy and efficiency of taxpayer tax returns.

Provide and educate tax clients with information to assist in future tax planning.

Answer tax-related questions and review financial records such as income, profit and loss, and other expenditures to determine the accurate forms necessary to prepare tax returns.

Address and resolve taxpayer complaints

Review and audit tax forms for accuracy and completeness

Requirements

Completion and enrollment of the ATC Income Tax Preparation Course

Must maintain PTIN via IRS

Must pass a criminal background check

Experience preferred but not required.
