The Vegetable Seeds team is currently seeking a Technical Sales Representative in Valdosta, Georgia, and surrounding area. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will develop and implement new market and business development plans, which will meet business goals of providing the best varieties possible for customers, as well as expanding customer base in the sales area. You will enhance the prosperity of farmers by:Providing guidance to the support team for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with the company’s vision and values. Working on the launch and demonstration of new product introductions with an effective trialing program to position products that will meet the needs of the target market.  Accountabilities Initiate and maintain contact with present and potential customers through sales calls and associated travelProvide a high level of service and product information to customers demonstrating a wide understanding and expertise in the fieldMaintain a high level of communication with the customers and Syngenta associates, acting as the liaison between these groupsDevelop and implement annual trial plans to position new varieties that will meet customer needsPlan and deliver timely seed samples of new commercial varieties per the defined trial planProvide technical solutions to difficult problems presented by customers and keep the Territory Manager informedDevelop and implement sales action plans to achieve annual sales and margin budgets
